  • God's finest for His finest

The love of God can never be adequately described as it is too deep and so vast. The rich mercy and favour of God are incomparable and they are for His Incomparable people. Pastor Paul Dawson in this message reiterates this theme encouraging his viewers to meditate on this great love and rich mercy freely showered upon us. Ephesians 2:4 says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us,” drawing our attention to God who is rich. He is rich in everything but here the Word says that He is rich in mercy. Mercy is the ability to see God’s favour in your life. Do you remember blind Bartimaeus’s cry to Jesus? He did not cry out to be able to see, his cry as recorded in the Word was – “Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me.” What he received from God was a miracle. The Lord Jesus extended the favour of God to meet him at his point of need. Verily I tell you, you are the most fortunate man or woman on this earth if God has decided to show you His mercy. Oh, His love for His people is great. It is vital that we have a clear revelation of both His rich mercy and His great love towards us. In Psalm 81:16 we read, “He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.” This is God’s desire for us. He longs to feed and satisfy us. Notice He mentions feeding us with not just any wheat but the very finest. The very best or the most superior quality of wheat is what He chooses to feed us with and He longs to satisfy us with wild honey, the most natural form there is. How amazing are His plans for us His people! We see His plans further detailed out in Deuteronomy 32:13 – “He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;” Here we understand that He wants us to ride on the high places, soaring high. He also yearns to give us oil out of the hard rocks. God’s plans for us are for us to experience the very best there possibly could be. Let us never forget that whether we look to the right or to the left, wherever we turn, God is thinking of us. He knows what, when and how to give us the very best. This is the same God of whom in Romans 8:32, Scripture records, “He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” He showed us His great love by sacrificing His Son, His very best for you and me. If you are wondering today who will supply your need, this should be a reminder - He shall. Not only does He desire to supply your need but also He does it feely. How marvellous are the plans of God! Despite His rich mercy and great love for us, there are times when people don’t receive all of this. Have you wondered why? Psalm 81:11-12 says, “But My people would not hearken to My voice; and Israel would none of Me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.” The problem clearly is that although God desires to give the very best, the people whom He chose for Himself, refused to accept it. They probably did not understand Him. They did not accept what He gave but instead selected something inferior. The heart of God is so evident in the subsequent verse, “Oh that My people had hearkened unto Me, and Israel had walked in My ways!” (Psalm 81:13) This is the same reason many are sick today and some even awaiting death. They have not understood His great love. They wonder why God has not answered their prayers and healed them. Sadly, they do not understand how rich in mercy our God is. He does not want anyone to suffer or be sick. His desire is to give you all things feely. In Psalm 115:14 we read, “The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.” He yearns to do this in all our lives. The Kingdom ways must manifest in our lives. We must be enlightened to see and understand the privileges He so freely longs to shower upon us. The norm is that believers walk in miracles. This is not an exception, it is the norm. Believers and miracles cannot be separated. This is because our God is rich in mercy and His love is great towards us His chosen people. #finest #greatlove #mercy #godslove #honey #rock #miracles #believers #gift #wheat #best #incomparable #increase #more #love

  • Promise of the Month - August, 2020

The promise of the month of August 2020 is Exodus 11:9, “And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.” The relevance of this promise for this month is brought out by pastor Paul D Dawson in this message. Like Moses, we too will encounter Pharaoh and it is at that time that God does multiple wonders in the land we dwell in. Many will see God’s wonders and marvel at it. Listen to this message on multiplying wonders and be blessed. It is God’s plan that His wonders be multiplied in the land. Let us reflect on the promise of the month of August 2020 which is Exodus 11:9, “And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.” If God’s wonders have to be multiplied there must be a Pharaoh who doesn’t listen to the voice of God. You may wonder why can’t God do without a pharaoh? Is a pharaoh really necessary? God works everything in life with His sovereignty. His wisdom is omniscient. There are many things we don’t know or understand. Understanding is based on revelation and this revelation is given by God. God says that Pharaoh will not harken to you because God wants His wonders to be multiplied in Egypt. In order for that to happen Pharaoh must not harken to it. He must oppose the voice of God. God is going to multiply wonders in your life. For many months, wonders will happen. Be happy for our God is a supernatural God. He is a God who He loves His children who can understand His plans. His wonders will be multiplied in the land you are living in. In Exodus 15:11 we read, “Who is like unto Thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like Thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” Who is God? He is one who does wonders. It is in His nature to do wonders.. The time has come for Egypt or the land you are living in, to see the wonders of God. God therefore has decided to do many wonders today. It is time for the land to see the multiplication of His wonders. If you don’t understand you may not see. This is because everything is by faith and grace. When you talk about grace you must understand faith. Without faith, grace doesn’t work. Today we have a bunch of talkers in our midst. God expects you and me to be one who experiences His wonders. There is only one way to do that. Get faith. Faith comes only from the revelation of God. Get excited. He wants to multiply His wonders. There is going to be multiplication of His wonders in your life. What is multiplication? Multiplication is fast increase. You must experience what God wants you to experience which is that His wonders must be multiplied in your land. Become God minded. Become power minded. Become supernatural minded. Let the anointing move in your life always. Let the glory move always. Be a blessing always. May the power of God work in your life. Are you ready for this? Get ready, get excited today. God bless you. #promiseofthemonth #august #2020 #propheticalPromise #promiseword #promise #multiplywonders #multiply #wonders #faith #grace

  • The New Normal - Part 2

In this sermon Pastor Paul Dawson reveals how the grace of God that has been given to us enables us to keep on praying always and everywhere and how it will enable us to keep on meditating the word of god all day long – night and day. Thirdly how you will be in the fear of God always, fourthly how you will be walking and living in the spirit always, and fifthly how you will be rejoicing in the Lord always. And finally, the grace will always enable you to look for the glorious appearance of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. And how all the above is the new normal for the new creation! The new normal for the people on whom the light of the Lord has come will experience the following. They will be Marvellously helped Supernatural increase amid extreme decrease Supernatural sustenance They will walk in miracles The LORD will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land and cause to dwell in safety. This will happen for those people who understand the word of god. At the same time, you must understand how the kingdom of God operates. Because if you do not understand you will be one-sided and one-sided will not see the expected results. How does the kingdom of god operate? In the book of James 4:8 Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded. The above verse indicates that you need to draw near to god for God to draw near to you and not vice versa. Also, we find in Luke 6:38 Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal, it shall be measured to you again. The first step is always done by the individual except for salvation as we read in Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; because dead people cannot take the first step but alive people can. God is so good because He has given us His grace which equips us to do what He expects us to do. In this message, you will find the first step that you need to do for God to perform what we had heard in the last week sermon. Ezekiel 36:26 -27 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. From the above verse, we see that God will give us a new heart because before we were born again we had an old heart and now god especially gives a new heart to special people. And a new spirit – when your spirit mixes with the Spirit of God, it becomes a new spirit. 1Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. God puts his Spirit within you and enables you to walk in his statues. You are not supposed to think of yourself as someone great because you obey the statutes of God and walk in his commandments. It is His Spirit within you that causes you to do it and no man can take glory for himself. The word “you shall” in Ezekiel means that you will do it and this will be the new normal for the new creation. And you need to keep on thanking God because He has enabled you to follow Him. The first thing that will happen: Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; you will find that in the new normal these people will always be praying in the spirit. 1Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. The above verse means praying everywhere, and this person is always praying and is praying everywhere. 1Thessalonians 5:17 -Pray without ceasing. You will find that this person is praying without ceasing and praying always, everywhere. You may wonder how this is possible. It is because God has given a new heart and a new spirit within this person which enables him to pray always, everywhere and without ceasing. The second thing that will happen: Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. You will find that this person is meditating the word day and night and without ceasing. Psalm 119:97 O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day. This person will have a new liking for the word and will meditate day and night without ceasing. He will be hungry for the word. And this person will be lost in the word until the word is found in him because God has put a new spirit within him. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. And you will that this person will be of renewed mind because he will be always thinking about the word and he will be so transformed that he will begin thinking like God. Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. You will find that it is God who is working in you to will and to do of his good pleasure. The third thing that will happen: 1Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: this new creation will spend all of his time here sojourning in fear. Proverbs 23:17- but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long. The new creation in the new normal will be in the fear of the Lord not just one minute or one hour but being in the fear of the Lord all the day long. Can you now understand the new normal? It is all day long praying everywhere and praying without ceasing. It is all day long meditating the word everywhere at all places and it’s all day long being in the fear of the Lord. When you are in the fear of the Lord you will eschew evil. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. If you are always in the fear of God everywhere you will not sin. When the woman was trying to tempt Joseph, he was alone in the house and every day the woman was tempting him but there was no impact. Why was that? It was because he feared God. And because he was in the fear of the Lord all day, God lifted him from the prison next to the pharaoh. In the new normal – kings will come to you! Isaiah 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. The fourth thing that will happen to you: Romans 6:4, therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so, we also should walk in newness of life. In the new normal you will not be walking in the oldness of life or in the old way that you were behaving but in the newness of life. Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:16 this I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. In the new normal it will be a life of living in the spirit always and walking in the spirit everywhere. And god will enable you to do it. The fifth thing that will happen to you: Philippians 4:4 rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. In the new normal you will be rejoicing in the Lord always. It’s time to enter into the new normal. 1Thessalonians -5:16 Rejoice evermore. Rejoicing not just one hour or two hours but continually rejoicing is the new normal. The sixth thing that will happen to you: Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; you will always be looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God a saviour Jesus Christ. You will not be looking for what others are looking for. Titus 2:11 for the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. In the new normal you will say that the Grace that has been given to me is making me and teaching me to look for that blessed hope and I don’t want that grace to be in vain. And when you do what God expects from you, God will do what he has already planned. And now is the time to get ready for some amazing miracles. #newnormal #blessedhope #grace #denyworldylusts #lookingforJesus #looking #rejoice #salvation #godly #onespirit #newspirit #fearofthelord #prayer #praywithoutceasing #covid19

  • Love is

Faith is propelled by love. Unfortunately our understanding of love may be skewed. Is love flowers, cards and chocolates? Is it a day set apart for celebration? Defining love is not a simple task because love is a person or the nature of the person. Pastor Paul Dawson in his message, plainly teaches us what love is not. I can assure you it will be a shocking revelation to you. If you want to grow in faith, you need this understanding on love. We are here to enable and equip the saints to know two foundational truths. Firstly, miracles and believers can not be separated. Secondly, we must live in the light of eternity. When these two are focused on, we become the incomparable people. God is training us to live in this mortal body to be ready for life in the immortal body. God is a just God and our actions will determine everything even in eternity. Remember the apostles worked very hard with both fervour and zeal in this world. They knew that labour in this world will give them rewards in the world to come. We must be careful how we labour in the world today. We must be balanced with all our labour as the Righteous Judge will reward us for it all. The apostles gave us guidelines regarding this. 1 Thessalonians 4:9-10 reveals the key guideline, “But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more.” God Himself teaches us to love each other and encourages us to progress more and more in the area of love. Some stagnate in the area of love thinking that they have enough love but we must not be satisfied with the level we are in. Christianity is a process of continuous labour. While in this world there can be no stagnation. Saints must increase more and more in love. In Galatians 5:6 we see that only one thing profiteth, “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.” Just as a car runs on petrol, a diesel machine works using diesel, faith relies on love. In the environment of grace, we receive everything by faith and it is love which makes faith work. If you don’t have real understanding, faith will not work for you. All day and night we can make confessions, quote Scriptures and fast but it will amount to nothing if we don’t walk in love. Only when we examine ourselves, the Holy spirit can convict us. So 1 Corinthians 11:28 urges us, “But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.” We are so accustomed to the natural realm and its hindrances that make us incapable of experiencing faith. If love is not there, faith is hindered. Just like a car without sufficient petrol will keep jerking and not provide a smooth ride, insufficient love acts like a block in your faith walk. Increasing more and more in love simply ensures increasing more and more in faith. To begin with we must understand what love is not. Love is not judging others. Saints of God do not jump to hasty conclusions regarding any matter or person. Keep your mind pure. Do not allow your mind to be polluted. Love does not misunderstand others. Imagine a believer who is looking to a rich man for financial help. Either directly or indirectly he has conveyed to the rich man that he needs money but there has been no response. Immediately the believer begins to judge the rich man as a miser with no compassion. That is a beggar mentality where the believer is depending on man. He blames the rich man for not responding but maybe God has not spoken to the rich man to give the money. The believer must stop depending on man and look to God as this attitude is highly displeasing to God. When you judge another, you walk out of love. Misunderstanding others ensures no growth in your faith level. Another simple example is of a person you meet at church or office. This person does not relate to you but you want him to. The tendency is to write him off as an arrogant or proud man. He may not even be aware of anything and might be going about his own work quietly. However, these thoughts of yours are not loving thoughts and block your faith from working. Love does not have bitterness. There can be no hate in love, no matter what that person did to you. Love typically will not rest until it forgives others. It is very uncomfortable when it has unforgiving thoughts. In fact the heart of love may burst if it does not remove unforgiving bitterness. Love has no spite or tit for tat nature. When you have to retaliate according to what is done to you, it is spite operating. You can not say he spoke about me so I won’t rest till I do this to him. Love is sadly missing here and therefore your faith will be ineffective. Love is patient and bearing. Loves bears others’ faults patiently. It is long suffering by nature even when it knows that the other is doing stupid things. Such a person is on the path to perfection. His faith level is exploding. This is the love that God expects from us. Love does not get angry quickly and drives out anger before the sun sets. Love must work on not allowing one’s negative emotions like anger to get the better of them. Every anger is not wrong as is seen in how Jesus got angry with the people trading inside the temple of God. Be angry but sin not as is recorded in Ephesians 4:26, “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” Love will eject anger out of the heart. It is highly uncomfortable when seated at the table with anger. One of them must vacate by sundown and it must be anger that goes. Love is kind and gentle. Someone who gets irritated very easily is not loving. 1 Thessalonians 2:7,”But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children”, shows us that the apostles were a gentle group. Love is no doubt gentle. Gentleness and kindness go hand in hand. Ephesians 4:32 says, “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” Often there are people whose speech is harsh; their approach or look may be harsh and they may exhibit what we call gruff behaviour. They may be loving but their mannerisms need to change. They tend to give a bad impression of who they are. Nobody can see what is inside of them, people only see what is manifested. My advice to you is that God will help you change. All things are possible to him who believeth. The Holy Spirit will help change you. Love is not selfish. Love is concerned about others. It treats others property as its own. This further helps one to increase in love more and more. Concern for other’s losses must be there in a loving person. When such qualities are found in believers, family problems will cease, there will be no spouse problem, adjustment problems and no need for family counselling. If there is a problem in a saint’s house, it is simply because love is missing. Love never gossips. Gossiping is speaking about others. Have you ever seen anyone gossiping about their own children’s faults? Their children may have acted very badly but the parents hide it. They keep quiet about it so that no one would come to know about it. That is human love in action. However, when it happens to be a co-brother or co-sister, the phone calls make the rounds. Love others as yourself and as your own children. What do you get by gossiping? What you get is this – your faith is going to stumble. Love on the other hand never gossips. It treats others as its own. Love does not take advantage of people. Finally love bears the infirmities of the weak. God expects this from the saints. You who are strong, do not keep quiet. Romans 15:1 confirms this, “We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.” It is the job love must do. We must choose to help the weak. Now we have seen 9 things that love does not do. Perhaps you are saying, “I don’t think I have love.” That is not true because according to Romans 5:5, “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Love is in you. God Himself has placed it there. You can excel in all these areas. Cultivate these traits as you would a garden which you desire to be a blessed garden. Remember we are people of extreme faith. Extreme faith needs extreme love. Don’t worry about your weaknesses. You were chosen because He had faith in you. He trusted you even when you were a rebel. He came for you and saved you. He has a mighty plan for you. Just surrender yourself to be moulded by Him. He moulded Moses for 40 years and made such an angry man, the meekest man in the entire world. God will use His power to mould you too. We must put on the Lord Jesus and make no provisions for the flesh. We must grow more and more in this love. #love #loveispatient #kind #patient #angry #loveofGod #gossip #selfish #nojudging #nobitterness #loveis #walkinlove

  • Heaven's designer wear

Are you dressed to meet the King of kings? An improper code of dress will not grant you an audience with the Holy One. If you long to meet Him, this sermon is for you. Pastor Dawson walks you through God’s desires for His elect. The proper attire which is a prerequisite for an audience with Him, is a specially designed garment as is well explained in the sermon. Take an exclusive peak at God’s Designer Wear for you today. Prophecy is God revealing to man what will happen before it happens. God knows all things. Prophetic Word is the truths God reveals to His people. No one can say we have been caught unawares. As the time of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ comes closer, gross darkness will increase in the world and cover the people. It is the beginning of sorrows. So God prepares His people for any kind of eventuality. Therefore we must listen carefully to the teachings of the Holy Spirit and be ready. In 2 Thessalonians 1:12 we read, “That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” This verse answers the question as to why we have been kept alive. We live that the name of the Lord is glorified in us and we in Him. We have been given our bodies so that through this body we can glorify God. If we work towards doing what He desires with our bodies, we will not fall sick. 1 Corinthians 6:20 further affirms, “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” We need this body to do anything. We need it for prayer, worship, to preach or tell the Word or even to do good works of any sort. However John 15:5 says, “…for without Me ye can do nothing.” Without the grace of God we can accomplish nothing. We need the grace of the Lord Jesus for this. So today we are going to learn how we can glorify God in our bodies. Paul in his letter to the Colossians explains how to make this happen. Colossians 3:12 urges us to “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;” Only the elect of the Lord can glorify the name of the Lord. We, the elect of the Lord, are both holy and beloved to Him. We have been specially chosen by Him to clothe ourselves with a unique garment so that the name of the Lord Jesus may be glorified. This clothing must have the following elements: Bowels of Mercies This refers to compassion. It is not an automatic emotion or deed. We must clothe ourselves with concern for others. The Lord Jesus healed many because He was moved with compassion. Matthew 14:14 reveals this sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings of others that He had, “And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick.” If we are holy and beloved, the elect of the Lord, we must put on this compassion. Kindness This is the quality of being friendly or considerate towards others. It refers to treating others with respect and dignity to make them happy. Jeremiah 52:31-32 states “And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison. And spake kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon.” Evilmerodach king of Babylon showed the king of Judah kindness though he did not deserve it. If His name is to be glorified, we need to be kind. Kind people exhibit the love of God to others. Humility When we clothe ourselves with humility, it means we don’t think too highly of ourselves. We don’t allow thoughts to assail us that say we are better than others. Instead we remember that apart from God, we can do nothing and therefore we are nothing. Whatever we do we must do with humility. Meekness This is a truly amazing quality, one of the best additions to the garment we must wear. When we consider Moses, we note that he was the man selected by God to talk to Him face to face. He was a man prepared to enter into glory. God had to mould him for 40 years in the wilderness. From being the proud Prince of Egypt in the palace for 40 years, he became a lowly shepherd, looking after sheep in the wilderness. God was ensuring Moses learned to put on meekness. He had been a proud ruffian who didn’t think twice before he killed a man but when God was done moulding him, he is recorded in Numbers 12:3 as “Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” He clothed himself in meekness to be fit to face God up in the mountain. The law came through God’s chosen man, Moses. We too must be dressed rightly if we desire to meet with God. Don’t expect God to give you an audience without being properly dressed before Him. That is why Paul is urging us to put on the dress God is telling us to put on so that we can be with Him and enjoy fellowship with Him. Some people are naturally rough in their talk because there is no meekness. Psalm 37:11 declares “But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” We must clothe ourselves with this meekness. Longsuffering Longsuffering is otherwise known as patience. It is the ability to bear with others. People who are longsuffering will not lose their temper. Naturally our humanity dictates that we are annoyed by those who irritate us but God says clothe yourselves with longsuffering. Consider God, we continue to irritate Him, never learning His ways, constantly annoying Him and yet does He get angry with us? No, He is longsuffering. Everyday we must put on these five qualities – compassion, kindness, humility, meekness and longsuffering. If you want your family to be the best family on earth, then any husband or wife clothed in this special garment with these five qualities, will ensure that there are no quarrels in the home. Their families will be peaceful and they will be a blessing to others. This is the clothing of the elect. A dress is meant for display so only when you wear it, others can see it. God wants you to wear it. The elect of God is already holy but they must wear this. At certain times however the elect are seen improperly dressed; without one or more of these qualities. That is not God’s expectation of us. In Matthew 3:8 we are taught, “Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance”. We must bring forth such fruits. We must dress to stand before God. Our bodies are to be clothed by what is specially designed by God. When we put on these qualities we will be a great blessing on this earth. God will be very happy with us when we clothe ourselves properly. The devil cannot touch such a person who understands the mind of God and lives according to it. And most importantly the purpose of our creation, that we glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and we be glorified in Him, will be fulfilled.

  • Diet Change

Physical pressures are handled by strengthening the physique. Similarly, spiritual strength is gained by adopting a strong Word diet. Pastor Paul Dawson in this sermon suggests a diet change to counter the onslaught of life’s numerous pressures. He focusses on building super strong faith and not becoming a casualty of war. It is time for a diet change. We must have super strong faith. The apostles were also interested in building the faith of people. The apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 2:24 says, “Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.” The first thing that happens to you when you become a believer is that your heart is filled with the joy of salvation. The apostles are helpers of your joy; they want you to be filled with joy. In 1 John 4:4, John also says the same thing, “And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.” They are concerned about the joy of those who stand in faith. Not everyone can stand in times of adversity and not be knocked down. Only those who have strong faith will not become a casualty. Satan attempts to knock down people in order to destroy the joy from their hearts. Often we see that as life progresses, suddenly somethings happen. Suddenly we are under attack. In Matthew 7:25 we see, “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.” We notice that when the rains descended, the house managed to stand but then the floods came. The attacks didn’t stop, for soon after the stormy winds blew and beat upon the house. Yet the house did not fall. What made the house stand? The Word of God says that it was founded upon a rock. What we learn is that we should have super strong faith. When the winds keep blowing and beating against you, if you fall or are shaken then your joy will disappear. The apostles are the helpers of your joy. Their focus is to build super strong faith in you. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God”, according to Romans 10:17. That is how faith is built. Faith is made strong by listening to the deep teachings of God; by being fed with the solid meat of the Word of God. In 1 Corinthians 3:2 we read about those who are being regularly fed with milk - “ I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.” These are those who can not eat meat. The apostles were feeding the people of God and fulfilling their role as helpers of their joy. Yet there were unable to eat solid meat. There are others of whom it is said in Hebrews 5:14, “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” These were people who had strong discerning abilities and exercised them. Paul knew the danger of continuous feeding on milk. He knew that the milk drinkers wouldn’t be able to stand when the evil day approaches. He chides the people in Hebrews 5:12, “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.” Those who were to be teachers, were still struggling with the basic principles. What do we understand from this? The onslaught of the enemy can not be withstood by those who don’t know even the basics and continue to regularly drink only milk. Some basics in which many still falter are – don’t sin, come to church regularly, be holy, repent, don’t look at your cell phones while in church, don’t yield to the lusts of the flesh and so forth. Imagine a 8th month baby still on a diet of milk, that will be a matter of concern for the parents. If this child grows to 2 years and then 5 years and continues to drink only milk, there is a problem. The same child at 15 and then 18 years of age, has not changed his diet. He is on only milk. Milk by itself is not bad or poisonous but how can this person’s body develop completely or be strong with only milk? Similarly, in order to withstand the onslaught of life’s pressures, we need to have a diet change. We must build super strong faith by eating solid meat. Remember the house mentioned in Mathew 7:27, “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” God does not stop the rain, the floods or even the wind because He wants you to grow. He sends His helpers to feed you so that you will grow strong. It is only by faith that you can stand. Jesus Himself told Peter, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” (Luke 22:31-32). He expected Peter to have strong faith. We must shift from milk drinking to meat eating. We must change our faith to super strong faith. To start us on the process, I have a faith booster for you. It is found in 2 Corinthians 1:21-22, “Now He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.” There are three important points mentioned here. Firstly, we are established in Christ. To be established means to not be shaken. God Himself makes us to stand firm. Secondly, we are anointed by God. Thirdly, we are sealed by Him. To understand the meaning of being sealed by Him, we look at how kings in the olden days sealed things. The king’s horses were sealed which meant they were for special service and were owned by the king. Everyone could see they belonged to the king. The decree of King Darius was sealed which displayed his authority. Thus being sealed, shows ownership. Being sealed also protects us against tampering and attacks. The seal of the Holy Spirit upon us shows a glimpse of the so great salvation that we have received. Even the enemy is afraid to touch a sealed person. This is not the seal of a Government, it is the seal of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. The enemy know you are established with the anointing of God and are sealed by the Holy Spirit. The question is do you know this truth? If you know this deep truth that you are sealed, then you will adhere to 1 John 5:18 - “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” Ephesians 4:30 also says, “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” So we must be careful not to sin and grieve the Spirit of God. God knows everything. He has planned for everything. Luke 10:19 – “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” He will ensure that no evil shall touch you. Eat the strong meat of the Word of God. Act in super strong faith. #dietchange #strongmeat #moveon #superstrongfaith #anointed #healed #established #helpersofjoy #faith #strongfaith #strongspirit

  • Mastering your emotional world

God created man with emotions. This man who was created with emotions, suddenly finds that his life does not go in the way which he desires. Everybody wants a good life and they want to be happy and satisfied. But if we observe our lives, it is full of ups and downs, twists and turns and full of unexpected surprises. The odds are stacked against us. During these circumstances, do you know it is essential to keep your emotions under control? Do you know why God is keeping you alive in this world? God keeps you in this world and is giving you these days so that you work towards perfection. But at the same time, there are certain things within us that prevent us from moving towards perfection and live as saints. Each and every one of us has an internal emotional world which others are not aware of and very often we ourselves are not clear of this internal emotional world that is within us. If this emotions within us is not properly handled, it will not only impact us but also will defile many others. Do you know God will not be happy with us if you are being the reason for causing many others to get defiled? Many of us may think, “Why is my faith lacking?” All of us know that God loves us. How much does He love you? It is so great love! All of us know that God is rich in mercy towards us. All of us know that God cares for us. All of us know that God has spoken the promises for us and it should be manifested in our life. All of us know that God died for our curses and for our healing just like He died for the forgiveness of our sins. In fact even before you decided to be healed, He has died for your healing and for your blessing. Then why is it that people today are struggling to receive what God has promised? Why are you not 100% sure? Why are you struggling to believe? You will have to actually analyse. The reason is just simple - your faith level is not up to the mark. If your faith level is up to the mark, then you will be sure even before you see it manifesting before your eyes. Yes, you will be sure of the healing before it manifests. Ephesians 1: 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Paul calls believers as saints (saints at Corinth, saints at Philippians, saints at Ephesians). Though they were saints, God expects certain things from these saints. The apostles were trying to bring to their notice certain things and one of the things is found in, 2 Corinthians 13: 9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. God's wish is your perfection. He also says in, Hebrews 6: 1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, So saints should just not be happy with the designation that they are saints, but they should go on to perfection. To move towards perfection, they need to leave behind the principles of the basic doctrines of Christ. But today many believers are at the basic level, for example- repentance from dead works and faith towards God. All these are basic things. Paul asks us to leave all these things and go unto perfection. Only when you go unto perfection, your faith level will also reach perfection, otherwise your faith level will be low. I am sure none of you want your faith level to be low. Before Goliath appears, your faith level should be sky high and not after he shows up. If it is not, you will run. But if your faith level is high, then Goliath will run. Hence we have to go on unto perfection. God keeps you in this world and is giving you these days so that you work towards perfection. But at the same time, there are certain things within us that prevent us from moving towards perfection and live as saints. Let us see one important but a dangerous thing within us. God created man with emotions. But at the same time He expects us to keep our emotions under our control and our emotions should not have control over us. We have to discern, which emotion is right and which is wrong. Some emotional responses are wrong because of what they do not only to us but the impact they have on others with whom we are in contact with. This man who was created with emotions, suddenly finds that his life does not go in the way which he desires. Everybody wants a good life and they want to be happy and satisfied. But if we observe our lives, it is full of ups and downs, twists and turns and full of unexpected surprises. The odds are stacked against us. In fact sooner or later things are going to happen in your life whereby you are going to get hurt. These hurtful feelings will pile up over time, will lead to resentment, and then anger and then sadness and in some cases it may also lead to depression. This will make you to hold grudges and a desire to take revenge and finally it will result in bitterness. All these happen when your emotions are not kept under your control. Life is like this because the things which you don’t like suddenly happen. Bitterness is the greatest enemy of perfection and faith. Bitterness can wear you down. It has the power to destroy us from within and also negatively impact on those whom you are coming in contact with. At some point in time, we are being hurt by someone in life. Sometimes this hurt is deliberate and sometimes it is unintentional. How many times, you are being hurt by the words or actions of the co-believers, spouse, friends and colleagues? You thought how they could be so insensitive that it might hurt you. Your heart feels like it would burst out of our chest wall. What is this common trigger? It is because of something which somebody did. Sometimes, some people may insult you. They can behave in such a way that it can trigger the pain inside you. Sometimes some people will talk behind you, which at a later point you might have heard and it would have hurt you. Some people may have rejected you and because of that you are hurt. Some people would have judged you and you came to know about it and it would have created resentment within you. Sometimes you get hurt, because somebody whom you believed greatly would have deceived you. Sometimes some people would have ignored you. We have to be careful about that because the ignorance can be unintentional. Someone might be facing a big problem at home. This person would have come to a function where you also have gone and when you were interacting with that person, he might not respond properly as his mind is full of his problems that you are not aware of. Actually he is not responding properly because his mind was preoccupied with his problems but you have been thinking that he is ignoring you and thus you thought it differently. Hurt can also take place when you differ with others even in the area of truth. In simple terms, you are hurt when someone did something hurtful or spoke hurtful. Each and every one of us has an internal emotional world which others are not aware of and very often we ourselves are not clear of this internal emotional world that is within us. I call this as emotional drama and the emotions with this emotional drama is if you allow it to pile up or to continue it will grow to hurt, anger and finally to bitterness. This will finally block your path to perfection. We have to be very careful as we go towards the path of perfection. It will also do something that is described in the Bible. The danger of bitterness is very clearly explained by the apostle Paul as, Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; NIV translates as "see to it and be careful that you do not fall short of the grace" Paul is saying this to the saints who are the holy men of God. He asks the saints to look diligently/ carefully/ watchfully. Jesus said, “Watch and pray lest you fall into temptation" Before prayer comes, watching is essential. Else without your knowledge, this root of bitterness may go inside and will make your prayer ineffective. Hence the first step is to look diligently and be careful so that no root of bitterness springs out of you and trouble you. So Paul very clearly knows that this root of bitterness can suddenly enter you and start growing. Each one of us has an internal emotional world within us which others are not aware and which we ourselves are not aware and hence Paul tells us to “look”. So if this root of bitterness springs up within you, it will trouble you or disturb you. Paul says, because of the root of bitterness springing up within you, many will be defiled. He uses the term - "defiling others". You may ask how your bitterness will affect others to be defiled. Defile means "unholy" as you can see from the below verse Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Daniel was very careful about one thing that if he allowed him to be defiled, then God will not move for him. So he did not defile himself. But the point here is, it is not defiling yourselves but you are defiling others, not one person but defiling many. That means, their blood may be upon your head. God will be upset with you. If you are a saint, then other saints will be affected because of you. Since you did not look diligently, the internal emotional world within you started reacting and this root of bitterness started to spring up within you and because of that so many people are defiled. Today many people defile other people and walk as if they are perfect saints. Root of bitterness is very dangerous, hence he tells us to be careful so that you do not fall short of the grace of God. In fact a saint is supposed to grow in grace. Let us see one reference in this context. 2 Peter 3: 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. James also says that “God gives more grace” But this guy because of allowing this internal emotional world, his grace is getting reduced. This is very dangerous and will affect your faith. This emotion known as bitterness will not only impact your perfection but also your faith. Jesus reveal this in, Mark 11 : 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11 : 25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. When you compare both the verses, you will find something very interesting as below. Matt 11:24 - in prayer He says when you "stand praying believe" Matt 11:25 - in prayer He says when you " stand praying forgive" There is a relationship between your answer to prayers and forgiveness. This means that bitterness should be completely erased and not temporarily. Forgiveness means that it will no more come back to your mind. If it is going to come back in your dream, then you haven't completely forgiven. Your forgiveness should be complete. This is where we need to have the strength of the Holy Spirit. Many people think they have forgiven and actually forgiveness means you forget about it and you don't think about it. Real forgiveness is not possible without the power of the Holy Spirit and without the power of Grace. How does God forgive you? He forgets about it and after that he doesn’t remember what you did. How can this be done? That is God. You can do this, when God comes inside you. God who is at work through you and if it is God who is at work through you, you can also do the same thing that God does. Philippians 2 : 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Bitterness can be removed only by God. So remember, when you pray you have to believe. In the next verse it says that you have to forgive. But if you do not forgive, Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. If you don't forgive, it means that bitterness is still inside you. Do you know that this bitterness also blocks your healing? James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Here James asks us to do something, that you may be healed. Instead of thinking that you are correct and the other person is wrong, you confess your fault one to another. After confessing, pray for one to another. When you do this then you have erased bitterness out of your heart. Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: Paul is teaching the meaning of walking in the Spirit. If bitterness is there, you cannot walk in the Spirit. Hence he has said "all bitterness" or "all types of bitterness" That means bitterness of any type should not be inside you. Look at other things that he says - wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking. All these are the effects of bitterness. Paul says that you have to always put away these things. Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; As per the above verse, we have to put on all these things. But in Ephesians 4:31, we have to put off all these things. One is put on and the other is put away. Hence the path of perfection demands what has to be put on "should be put on" and what has to be put off "should be put off". This is your job. You have to live in the light of eternity. Hence God gives us the light or revelation of eternity. We are in the path of perfection. In such a time as this, when a virus is affecting the people, God is looking for people who walk towards perfection. People who understand the desire of the creator and work for that. When you work towards perfection, you will not lose anything but will see God's best in your life. Daniel understood this when he was young and during the Old Testament days. God honoured him. In the secular world, he was at the top. The same God is working today. If you are in the secular job, you better work towards perfection and you will see God's best manifesting in your life. Not only that, you will be ready when the Lord comes. God will say " Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” God bless you. #perfection #bitterness #lightofeternity #pathofperfection #emotions #emotionalworld #puton #forgive #forgiveness #saints #saint #becomingsaints

  • The New Normal - Part 1

New Normal Series No one would have ever imagined of the things happening today. You would have never envisaged or imagined that it will happen in your generation. We have entered the new normal. We have been forced to enter the new normal. At such a time as this, one needs to act in wisdom to face the new normal life. Do you know God will make you to thrive amidst the chaos? We have entered into a phase that is unusual. Prices and the cost of living will keep shooting high. Fear and uncertainty will keep increasing. All these are oriented towards suffocating the people and this is the effect of darkness covering the people. This is where the new normal begins. God expects us to understand the times as He has got a special plan for His people. In this generation, you are God’s people. You have a special plan that is ordained by God. Do you know that this special plan has its full effect even when gross darkness covers the people? This message reveals His special plan for His people so that they experience His marvelous sustenance. You are not living for this world but you are living for eternity. How are you are going to spend eternity? You can have an idea here on earth itself. You shouldn’t take the things that happen in this world lightly. No one would have ever imagined of things happening today. You would have to envisage and you will realize that you would not have imagined that it will happen in your generation. We have entered the new normal. We have been forced to enter the new normal. At such a time as this, we should be like the children of Issachar. 1 Chronicles 12: 32 - And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment. Here we find that the children of Issachar had special skills. You need to understand the times. God expects Israel should know what they should do. You are Israel. Galatians 3: 29 - And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. God has got a special plan for His people. In this generation, you are God’s people/ you have a special plan that is ordained by God. You have to understand the plan of God and align with it. Isaiah 60: 2 - For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. The earth will be covered with darkness and gross darkness the people. This will come suddenly and you would have never expected it to come. What is the meaning of darkness? Colossians 1: 13 - Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Darkness is the power. This extreme power will cover the people. The prophecy that is told is “it will cover the earth”. Now you can understand if this time is near. The people will find that this power is suffocating them. You will see that when the time progresses. Everybody likes liberty and freedom. The number of youth who are eligible for employment will keep on increasing and at the same time the jobs will be decreasing. Prices and the cost of living will keep shooting high. Fear and uncertainty will keep increasing. All these are oriented towards suffocating the people and this is the effect of darkness covering the people. This is where the new normal begins. Don’t you think we are living in the new normal? You will have to analyze and understand that things you didn’t expect has come into reality. In such a time as this, the new normal has begun in a certain group of people. People who are like Issachar know what to do and they will experience the new normal. When will this new normal be experienced by this group? Only when darkness covers the earth and gross darkness covers the people. Isaiah 60: 2 - For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. What should happen in the future was prophetically spoken? It says, at that time the LORD shall arise upon them and then your light has come. Isaiah 60: 1 - Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Now you have to arise as your light has come and people are suffocating because of the darkness. When you arise, the shining will be there, because your light has come. That light is because of the glory of the LORD. But many people wait for things to happen and then act. This is a prophetic message. What will happen to this group? If you are ready, it will manifest now, else you have to do something and then it will manifest. 2 Chronicles 26: 15 - And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvelously helped, till he was strong. When will people marvel? When things that will not happen, will start to manifest. Unthinkable, unbelievable and unimaginable will start to manifest. You just pray for it and you will see that will happen. Cancer disappearing without a surgery, you having a paralytic attack and now you are totally healed. This is a marvelous thing. Blind eyes opening is a marvelous thing. You are in a pit and now you are released from the pit of debt is a marvelous thing. You are already in a path of divorce, but a reconciliation happened and then a new family appeared is a marvelous thing. How long will this help continue? Till he was strong. This is not a one-time help but will continue. Psalms 115: 14 - The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. This is a supernatural increase. You know that there is no way by which you can increase, but you are doing so. Since the Lord increases you, you are increasing without any of your physical resources. How will the Lord do it? By the light that the LORD showers upon you. When the LORD makes His light shine upon you, the people will see it clearly. When God starts working, people will see. Genesis 39: 3 - And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. The Bible says that the LORD was with Joseph. The Lord was invisible. But Potiphar, who serves other gods saw that the LORD was with Joseph. He saw that the LORD was with Joseph. He didn’t see intelligence, skill or education qualification. But the LORD was with him. He also saw all that God was with him and he prospered. Genesis 39: 4 - And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. Because the master saw God was with him, Joseph found grace in his master’s sight. Joseph was a slave. He also got super promotion. When the LORD arises upon you, people can see you. Your job is to arise. If you arise, you will shine, because something has come upon you. This manifestation will begin only when this darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the people. 1 Kings 17: 16 - And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah. When did the above incident happen to Elijah? It happened when there was an extreme famine in Samaria. At that time, we find something that happened which should not have happened. Elijah & the widow woman did not have to go to market for food. This meal kept on multiplying and multiplying. It was fresh and coming daily from the store house in heaven. Every day they were getting fresh food. The invisible hand of the LORD suddenly manifested and all could see. In the time of famine, they saw. It is supernatural sustenance, whether they are working or not working, their needs will be met supernaturally. You have not seen God and hence you are thinking Him low. He is a God of miracles, and He will go to any extent to show His power. Supernatural sustenance is the characteristic. Are you read for the new normal? Whether you are ready or not, you must face the new normal. This new normal you are facing is not decided by you. Ezekiel 34: 25 - And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. You will dwell in safety in your dwelling place. Evil beasts like coronavirus, bacteria, germs, evil, failure will be missing in your life. Because God will make it cease from your land. He will make you to dwell in safety. The LORD will be shining upon you. The LORD will shine upon you. Marvelously helped Supernatural increase in the the midst of extreme decrease Supernatural miraculous sustenance The LORD will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land and cause to dwell in safety All these things shall manifest when the LORD shall arise upon you Isaiah 60: 2 - For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. For those who are totally devoted to God, this will happen.. Isaiah 60: 3 - And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. It was mentioned as “kings” not king. This will manifest for those who do exactly devoted to GOD. You will not go to the kings, they will come to the brightness of your rising. If you want this bright light to be seen upon you, then you must completely understand the plan of God and work for it. Why will the kings come? Because of the brightness. Gentiles can come to thy light, but kings can come only when there is a brightness in your light and not simply light. God will make you to thrive amidst the chaos. Thriving in the midst of chaos. When everybody is looking for help, you will be experiencing marvelous sustenance. #thriveamidstchaos #thrive #newnormal #corona #safety #times #understandingtimes #eternity #blessings #wisdom #darkness #secondcoming #last days

  • God's will and Corona

New Normal Series God created a perfect world filled with his goodness, according to his will. Why did God create everything? He created everything for his purpose. God intended man’s life to be abundant and without any lack. However, the current situation does not imply this reality. Today’s world is full of troubles, sickness, lack and chaos. Though this is the case, God’s children have His promises to help them escape the troubles of this world. Why then, are God’s children suffering the same way as others do? Do the promises in the Word of God still hold good for his children? Well, God is the same, yesterday, today and forever. His Word has the same power, as it did, ages ago. He who has promised is faithful and just to fulfill it. Then where is the disconnect? Where are we going wrong that all the promises are not fulfilled in our lives? Just like how a pilot needs to learn how to fly his plane using the manual, and also the Do’s and the Dont’s, we need to know how to make the promises of God work for us from the Word of God. The will of God concerning you, is that you prosper, be in health, and not lack any good thing. That's what God has promised you, but to inherit these promises, you need to do something. What you are expected to do is coupled along with these promises. Most of us ignore this part. Now would you like to know how to identify them? Listen to this message in which the man of God has rightly divided the promises and presented them, so that you can identify what is expected of you and fulfill them. As a result, you can inherit the promises of God and stay blessed. God created this world. Why did God make everything? Proverbs 16:4 The Lord hath made all things for himself: Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: Who is our God? Our God is the one who makes everything work according to his own plan. You need to understand who our God is. He does not work to fulfill your plan but his will. According to his plan, He determined that he would create man and give him his own will-power. It was God’s plan, that man should have his own will power and that he should use it to decide what he is supposed to do in this world. However, if man’s will contradicts the plan of God, then he will not have the Power of God working in his favour. Hence, man should be very careful to find the will of God and align himself to it. That is when he can be assured of the Power of God working in his favour. In today’s scenario, we see that the coronavirus is spreading to many nations throughout the world and victimising as many people as possible. It is attacking the righteous and the wicked. It is weakening the defense system of the body and killing many people. An invisible war is on. Is it the plan of God that man should be attacked and overpowered by the coronavirus? Let us analyse, what the will of God is, for a believer concerning the Coronavirus situation. It is spreading quickly and people are caught unawares. It looks so powerful. Do not stick to what you know but analyse and understand what the scripture says in this regard. You need to be careful that tradition does not block the real understanding of the Word of God. You need to be very clear about the will of God, otherwise you cannot have the faith to make the right moves. What does the Scripture say? Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. What is the name of your God? I am the Lord that healeth thee. The Hebrew name, Jehovah Rapha has been derived from this verse. God says that he would not allow any of the diseases that he sent upon the Egyptians to come upon you. Most people just refer to this portion of the scripture, which says - He is Jehovah Rapha, and He will not allow any of the diseases of the Egyptians to come upon me. You are an Israelite. Do you want to know how? We all know that Israelites are the seed of Abraham. Galatians 3: 29, And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. According to the verse, they that are Christ’s are the seed of Abraham. What a privilege it is to know that God will not allow any of the diseases of the Egyptians to come upon us. How comforting it is to hear this promise of God? God is our healer. We are so happy and content with the later part of the verse. However, many fail to understand that the promise mentioned in the later part of the verse, applies only to those who fulfil the first part of the verse. Here, God expresses His two desires or will. God desires that you should diligently hearken unto his voice and observe to do all His commandments. God desires that you should not suffer any of the diseases that came upon the Egyptians, for He is the Lord that healeth thee. However, the second part is interlinked with the first part. It would result from you, fulfilling the first part. It is you who should fulfill the first part. If you implement the first part, then God will ensure that He does His part. You do your bit and then God will fulfil his promise. First part, which is “If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes,” is your role, something that you need to do. The second part of the verse (I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.) being the will of God, makes it pretty clear that it is not the will of God for Coronavirus to affect the children of God. When does the second part come into action? When you do the first part without any deviation. If you live your life casually, without understanding the first part, and then expect the second part to come to effect, it is not going to happen. You have to be very careful and you need real faith. We are not dealing with something ordinary, but something highly dangerous. Within two and a half months, over 2.3 million people have been affected. You need to have strong faith. This is not just to deal with the Coronavirus, but also the after effects of the Coronavirus, like layoffs, economic recession etc. You should not be affected by all this. Let’s see what the Word of God says about it. Deuteronomy 4:40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever. This verse clearly expresses God’s heart for you and your children. He doesn't want you and your children to be affected by the Coronavirus and its after effects. He doesn't want you to be hit by economic problems. Even in Deuteronomy 4: 40, we see that the first part of the verse needs to be understood and fulfilled by us to inherit the second part of the verse. Today, many selectively choose only the second part of the verse and ignore the first part, which is very important. Let’s see another verse, Deuteronomy 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! In this verse too we find two desires of God. God wants you to have a heart which fears the Lord and keeps his commandments always. God wants it to be well with you and with your children always. Here too it is evident that the fulfillment of the second desire of God is purely dependent on you keeping the first desire. You need to first have a heart that fears God and keeps his commandments always. Then the Lord will make sure it is well with you and your children. It is very critical that we do our part without any deviation because it results in supernatural protection. Let us see some more examples on these lines. Psalm 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Here is God’s will for you, which says no evil shall befall you, neither shall Coronavirus or any other plague come near your dwelling. God’s power is working to fulfill his will. Many of us take this part for granted, however, we need to understand that this is the second part of the will of God. The first part, which is our responsibility, is found in the previous verse. Psalm 91:9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; We need to ensure that we make the Lord our refuge and the the most High God our habitation. When we do our part, God will engage his angels to fulfill his second will, which is divine protection from all evil. Therefore, we can relax. Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. God says that the Sun of righteousness will rise upon you with healing in his wings. Can Coronavirus or any other plague attack a person dwelling under the wings of the Sun of righteousness? However, this happens to be the second will of God in this case and there is a predecessor to it. The first will or desire of God in this case, is that you fear his name. When you fear his name, then the sun of righteousness will rise upon you with healing in his wings. You cannot change God’s nature - He is Jehovah Rapha Now let's look at similar instances in the New testament. John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. Here we see that Jesus healed a person who had an infirmity for thirty eight years. Jesus had a message for him, but did not convey it immediately. We see that Jesus found him in the temple later, and said to him something very important, which will ensure that his healing will be permanent. Jesus told him firmly, do not sin any further, otherwise a worse thing will come upon you. It was Grace speaking to the man. He desired that the man who received his healing should maintain it. That is why Jesus found him and conveyed the important message. It is a serious warning that Jesus gave the man who was healed. Here again two desires of Jesus are evident. God desires that the man who was impotent for thirty eight years be healed and that the healing is permanent. God does not want the man to sin anymore. The healing would be permanent only if he fulfills this desire of God. Grace always counsels us. We need to keep ourselves from sins. 1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. Here again, we see two things, Whosoever is born of God sinneth not, but keeps himself from sin. The wicked one cannot touch the person who is born of God and does not sin. On the contrary if a person who is born of God does not keep himself and continues in sin, then the wicked one will touch him. To deal with the current Coronavirus situation, you need to have an unshakable faith which comes from a proper understanding of the undiluted Word of God. We can substitute the current situation and get a better understanding. He that is born of God sinneth not and the wicked Coronavirus toucheth him not. First, you have to keep yourself from sin, and then God will ensure that the wicked one does not touch you. Finally, lets analyse one more verse, 3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. What is the will of God here? Beloved, I wish that you prosper and be in health, which infers, that you should prosper and be free from Coronavirus. Your soul should prosper. Your soul prospering, is your duty, and when you fulfill that, God will ensure that you prosper and be in health. Now you are clear about God’s will for you. You should prosper and be in health. Your children should also be blessed. The sun of righteousness shall rise upon you with healing in his wings. You will grow like calves of the stall. It shall be well with you and with your children forever. This implies that God does not want you to be affected by Coronavirus. However, for all these to be fulfilled, you need to ensure that you fulfill your part of God’s desire. You need to ensure that your soul prospers. Only when this condition is fulfilled, will you prosper and be in health. He that is born of God sinneth not and that wicked one, the Coronavirus will not touch him or his children. Let's be thankful for the unfailing love of God. Let us therefore be mindful to keep up with our part of God’s desire, so that God will keep his promise for us. #safety #covid19 #coronavirus #preservation #wellbeing #children #soulprosperity #health #healing #promises

  • Prophetical Promise for the month of July

God has chosen you to be a special person, holy unto Him. His divine plan is to set thee on high. This is His specific promise for July 2020 and every day for the rest of your life, if you can fully grasp what the Scripture in Deuteronomy 26:19 and Psalm 91:14 is saying. Pastor Paul Dawson brings to light how this plan of God to make thee high can come to pass in your life. If you are someone grappling with the ‘whys’ of life, struggling to attain God’s perfect plan, this sermon is a must-hear for you. The promise of the month is Deuteronomy 26:19, “And to make thee high above all nations which He hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be a holy people unto the Lord thy God, as He hath spoken.” And we can find the same statement in Psalm 91:14. The first job of a believer is to discover the God he is serving. The above scripture indicates that God has amazing plans for each one of us and even to set us above all nations. And He gives such special treatment only for a special group of people. The moment you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, God made you a son of God, a joint-heir of Christ and the righteousness of God. With that, He also gave you all authority to use the ‘Name above all names’. God has also promised that he will answer all your prayers. And, all the above he has made it available in this world and not in the world to come because of His rich mercy and great love with which He has loved us. The Bible declares in Ephesians 2:4, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us.” God is giving us this beautiful promise in such a time as this, where we find everything is in chaos and turmoil and everything seems to go down. And there should be a specific reason for that. It’s time we understand what is God expecting of us. God is looking for special people to whom He can show special favour and make them live a special life. We find that many of us are praying continually for breakthroughs, increase, and healings and so many things but we must analyze why we keep praying for all that because our God has never said that He will not answer our prayers. We must acknowledge what He has done for us. God has given us His best, He has given us His maximum – His own son (according to Romans 8:32) He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? If he has given us His very best, shall He not also give us all things? Therefore you becoming high and getting a job and seeing your business flourishing, walking in perfect health is not something great. It just shows that you are walking in the favour of God. You need to rejoice because today you have the favour of the creator god. We can find a zillion teaching on how to get healing and breakthrough but it’s crazy because God has not left anything undone and He is too good. Many people are trying out various things because they have never understood the God whom they worship. The plan of God for our lives is very clear and it is to make us high. Do you not love His plan? We need to be full of joy because god setting us on high is something He loves to do. He is setting us on high to make us a holy people unto him. However, we are lacking in our actions and do not do what He expects us to do and we just keep praying. The first step is to obey and then we should pray. Without any action of obedience, praying will only get us frustrated and we may even die without experiencing the good plans of God. Psalm 91:14 reminds us, “Because He hath set His love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high because He hath known my name.” The reason why God sets that person high is because he has known the name of His god. Now we can understand that everything is purely based on our actions which enable God to set us on high. God had chosen Abraham and had a mighty plan for him. Do you know how the plan came into existence? In Genesis 18:17-19, “And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which He hath spoken of him.” We find from the above verse the secret as to how Abraham possessed his promise. It was his action that triggered God; it was because God knew that Abraham would certainly command his children and they shall keep the way of the Lord. God is watching our actions, and our promises will come into effect only when we do what God expects us to do. It’s high time we wake up and understand that the blessing is on our head and that we don’t have to waste our time looking out for prophecy. Its time you understand that there is a blessing machine on your head and you will always be increasing no matter how bad the lay of could be. Galatians 3:14, “That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” The plans of God can manifest in your life only when you are wise and do what God expects you to do. God chose Abraham and decided to make him great and bless everyone through him but after that, He watches and waits for Abraham to do what he must do. God knew that he would be a great blessing because he understood what God expected of him. You need to stop wasting the time given you and at least form July begin to recognize that God is in absolute control of everything and that He reigns. In 1 Samuel 2:8, “He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and He hath set the world upon them.” Therefore start rejoicing and start to think like the incomparable people. And let there be a difference in your thinking, your attitudes and your ways. You are born to experience His power every moment of your life and remember that no weapon formed against you can prosper. #promise #july #high #actions #prophetical #liftedup #onhigh #monthly

  • The Word that profits

We all know that we have entered chaotic times where fear, uncertainty and restlessness are controlling the people everywhere. We have entered such unpredictable times and no one is clear as to what is going to happen tomorrow. There seems to be no clarity in recent times. In this sermon, Pastor Paul Dawson explains how to ensure that the Word we hear profits us and helps us to experience the effects of redemption and how faith plays a vital role in that. In these situations, you can either choose to experience the effects of the prevailing situation like any other person like fear, sickness, confusion, restlessness, debt, unemployment and other effects of darkness or you can experience the effects of redemption like rest, joy, peace, increase, abundance, victory, health and preservation. Which of the above do you desire to experience? Some believers think the moment they are born again they can experience the effects of redemption. If we read in Romans 4:16 -Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace. You need to do some action because faith is active and it should be an appropriate action. Unless you release faith you cannot walk in the power of God. It’s time we understand that we are surrounded by the power of God and walk in the power of God. Action is based on your mind which is why your mind has to be controlled by the Spirit. This is the reason why the word which is Spirit should influence your spirit because there are certain things which you cannot understand with your mind. How do you know that your sins are forgiven by the blood of Jesus? Have you seen it? Have you felt it? Have you smelt it? This means you are confident because you understood it with the Spirit knowledge. Jesus said my words are Spirit and life. Psalms 36:9 - in your light we see light. The verse means that in His light we see revelation. Hebrews 4:2 - For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. They heard the word but it did not profit them because it was not mixed with faith. In other words, it did not mix with a revelation or the light of God did not mix with what they heard. Therefore they will not act according to the word but they will act differently. When the word says they are healed, they believe that they are sick because they see the symptoms. In such a time as this, the word has to mix with faith otherwise it’s not good for you. If the word is not mixed with faith then there will no difference between yourself and the unbeliever who has never heard the word. And if the word does not profit, the works of the devil will control you like unemployment or sickness. But if the word profits you, then you will experience the effects of redemption. If you want to experience the effects of redemption, you need to understand this God and why He redeemed you. The first desire of God is found in Exodus 11:7 - but against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. God loves to put a difference between you and the unbeliever and even in Exodus 8:23 -And I will put a division between my people and thy people: tomorrow shall this sign be. Again and again, we find that God loves to put a division between you and the unbeliever. You need to understand this truth with the light of God shining on the word that you hear. You must analyze if you really understand the word or you are just confessing the word with no understanding. The second desire of God is found in Deuteronomy 5:29 - O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever! God assures that it will be well with you and your children in good times and the bad times and you have a role. And the role is that you have a heart that fears God and keeps all His commandments, to fear God and to keep his commandments denotes action. When you present such a heart to God he, in turn, makes sure that it goes well with you and your children despite the lockdown and the current unemployment that is going around the world. Even in the New Testament, we find the same thing 1Peter 3:10 says “let him” which indicates that without any action faith is dead. Colossians 3:1-2 if ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Many people think faith is confession but confession +action makes up faith. Setting your affection on things above is based on your heart. God never allows anything contrary to His word. If anything is happening it is because you did not understand His word. The third thing that you should know about yourself is that you are the incomparable people. Deuteronomy 33:29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places. When God is your shield and sword can the darkness in this world can for a single moment overpower you and keep you down? Your job is to guard your heart and to ensure that you obey the word of God. This should be automatic and voluntary because you the Holy Spirit inside you who helps you to do it. The new creation is controlled by Christ. You have the mind of Christ and the love of God is poured in your heart abundantly. So walk in love, walk in faith and walk in power and experience God’s goodness in such a time as this. #coronavirus #safety #protection #god's desire #incomparable people #different #word that profits #power

  • Making your faith sure

We are all aware that we have entered the ‘New Normal’ and that the world is going through a chaotic phase. The people of the world are going through pressures on every side and the WHO chief has described that “this is just the beginning and the worst phase of coronavirus is yet to come.” There is coming a time when the lockdown lifts and you need to meet many people. Unless you have a strategy planned out, you cannot be assured that you will not be affected by the coronavirus. In this sermon, we will find Pastor Paul Dawson revealing the secret of how to make your faith and confidence sure! Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall- 2 Peter 1:10 KJV Another statement issued by the Indian scientific research is that 80% of the Indians are Asymptomatic and it simply means that they show no symptoms unless they are tested. This proves how cunning this virus can be. The question is… How you made your faith sure so that you don’t fall? Are you are going to say whatever comes to the unbeliever comes to me? Don’t you know you have a God who preserves you from all evil? Don’t you think there is a God who puts the difference between my people and the Egyptians? (Exodus 8:23) Where is that God? Are you 100 % sure that you will not be impacted by the virus and its effects? If you have not made your faith 100 % sure – you are exposed! Don’t take this truth lightly. Develop your faith to such a level so that your faith is sure! There is going to be lack, unemployment, debt and decrease. So, what is the meaning of your faith being sure? A person who has made his faith sure will be relaxed, resting and calm even when they hear such news. And… They know exactly what can happen to them. They know that they are in safe hands. They know that they will only see the hand of God. They will be very clear that the power of God will be working in their favour. They know that they are the Incomparable People! Now let’s examine a person from the Bible whose faith was 100% sure: Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree. Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime - Daniel 6:9-10 Daniel continued to give thanks even though the king has signed the writing and the decree because his faith was 100% sure. He was very confident even before he could see any anything. Now, how to make your faith and confidence sure? The secret lies here… Philippians 2:21 (KJV) For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's. Paul was writing about believers who were interested in themselves and not in Christ. He was especially addressing to the believers of his period. Now, let’s read Mathew 6:32 & 33 and we find that both the verses are addressing the same thing. “For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Now you may wonder how it is related to great faith if we do not seek our own but the things of Jesus Christ. The answer is if you seek your own things, your faith level will be very low. Colossians 1:16 - reveals that all things have been created through him and for him. You are living for his pleasure, and you will be violating the purpose for which God has created you if you do not fulfill his desire. For example – a robot created to be an assistant or a helper, instead of fulfilling its duty, takes a stick and starts beating, will the maker be happy? In the same way, you are just like the robot, created by the hands of the creator God to do his pleasure as mentioned in Revelations 4:11 and He expects your mind and will power to fulfill what He has created you for. And if you only try to please yourself, will He be happy? Do you know that faith comes from the Creator? Jesus Christ is the author of faith and if your faith level has to be high you have to seek the things of Jesus Christ. Clearly understand that God wants your faith level to be high that it can move mountains and only then you can be a blessing to yourself and others. Mark 11: 22- 23 reveals that you can have whatever you say. Don’t you think you can apply this to the corona Virus Mountain, but the only thing is, you should not doubt and believe that you will have whatever you say! Because when the word of God is fulfilled, you can stop anything. When your faith level is high, you will be a blessing to others. We are facing such chaotic situations where many have lost their jobs. Today you need faith. When there is no man to help you - have the faith of God. You can have whatever you say. Take this seriously. You need extreme faith. Be blessed as you are God's best! #newnormal #faithlevel #greatfaith #faith #seekGod #seekthingsabove #makeyourfaith sure #daniel #calm #thrive amidst chaos
